Yesterday, when I tried to search for something, I got a message stating that the Google connection was lost and I cannot find anything now. I hadn't done a virus or malware scan at that point, so I don't know what happened and I don't know what to do.

Run OTL (Vista or Win 7 => right click and Run As Administrator)

Paste (Ctrl + v) the copied text in the box where it says Custom Scan/Fixes

Select the All option in the Extra Registry group then Run Scan.

You should get two logs. Please copy and paste both of them.

I didn't fix anything. Just asked you to run a scan and post the logs so I could see what is wrong.
