Hello all
First time computer builder here looking for opinions.
I am most interested in longevity and the ability to upgrade piece by piece in the future.
I will use this computer for light photo editing and large quantity storage of photos, duplicating and storing large quantities of both audio and video, YouTube, I-Tunes, Google Earth, News and Weather , General Web Surfing, and so on.
I have already gone over my intended budget, but am fine with that if the quality is worth the money.
Right now I am at almost $900.00
So here is what I have chosen, and would like to know what you think, good, bad, and the ugly.
Also is this everything I will need or have I missed something?
I will not need a Monitor, Keyboard or Mouse.
One other question is will the Intel HD Graphics 2500 in the CPU do what I have described, or will I need a GPU?
Thanks in advance, and Have a Great Day.

I have added notes to some of your list of parts below;

Having a single large capacity HDD is a bad idea, 2TB is an awful lot of data to lose should the drive fail, fit a smaller capacity HDD now and add a second storage device later.

You are paying more than you need to for your PSU, see attached link below.

I have included a faster but less expensive CPU in my list of parts,

Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit – OEM 99.99

An alternative list of parts for you to consider, a suitable GPU included + under your $900 budget http://pcpartpicker.com/p/jlHq

Rage, thanks for your time with my post.
I will have to check out the place that you showed for the parts. It looks like some pretty substantial savings.
As far as the hdd goes I already have a 1 TB external drive that is 3/4 full that will be my backup. I intend to put a whole lot more on the drives and will have two copy's of everything when I am done.
You are not the first person to suggest that cpu instead so I am leaning toward the 3470 more and more.
1 more thing for now, do I really need a 200.00 video card for what I want to do?
Thanks for your time and have a great day

Yes indeed, please see http://www.videocard...h_end_gpus.html your intended use is far too much to be achieved from the CPUs graphics power.
