Hello,

Wondering if someone might be able to shed some light on my problem, may be something very simple I'm overlooking.

I recently purchased an 80GB USB Samsung HDD [model no: mp0804h]

I have tried to install the drivers that came with the it but seemingly to no avail. the HDD is recognised under Control Panel/System/Hardware/Device Manager/Disk Drives.

This tells me that it is there, but doesn't seem to be working.

Anyone that might be able to point me in the right sirection, it would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Regards,

No, there is no letter associated with it at all, i guess it does need to be formatted, how would i go about doing that?

and which option should i use, i know there is a few different ways such as FAT and FAT32 etc.

Thanks for your help

Once your there scroll thru your drives and see if there is one that is in black
