Oh, okay. Yes, I clicked the "Run Fix" button, and that's the full log that shows up in the Notepad document that opened automatically.

Run OTL again and paste in the following into the text box of OTL:

C:\rundll32.exe /s

Set all options to None and then click Run Scan.

Post the resultant log please.

Ok, no problem with this regard then.

About the speed, I'll look into this further and then let you know what to do next.

By the way, what's the expiry date on your Norton?

No expiry date. I use the free version that's available through my ISPs. (Doesn't expire unless I change ISP providers.)

Hi, queendom. Ok, uninstall Norton then and when done, restart your computer. Then tell me if the computer is quicker as a result.

If that is the case, then you may need to install another (lighter) antivirus in its place. If not, feel free to have it reinstalled.

Will do! I will try installing Microsoft Security Essentials instead. Does the system appear clean otherwise?

Seems so. Just one thing to do before I declare it clean.

Download Security Check by screen317 from here or here.

Save it to your Desktop.
Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.

Has the speed improved? Or still the same? Also, any other issues?

Strangely enough, the computer is still slow following the swap from Norton to MSE.
