I have recently been trying to get final draft on my computer for a university assignment, I began by looking for full free illegal versions, which I now regret. I found three, which I installed one at a time, and uninstalled upon realizing they didn't work before installing the next. When I installed the last of the three, my computer wouldn't even let me start the program and instead came up with an error message that read 'cdintf400.dll is missing from your computer' it also said to re-install the program to fix the problem, so I clicked fix twice and nothing happened, then I decided I was going to give up on the illegal versions, and so I uninstalled that version and installed a 100% legal free trial from the official website of final draft, but the same message was displayed when I tried to run it... and I believe this is something that can effect me running many programs too. How do I fix this? please help me.

Hi I will need to look at the system first

Download OTL to your Desktop
Secondary link
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

  • Select All Users
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in

    netsvcs
    BASESERVICES
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
    /md5start
    services.*
    explorer.exe
    winlogon.exe
    Userinit.exe
    svchost.exe
    winsock.*
    /md5stop
    CREATERESTOREPOINT

  • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Post both logs

THEN

Download aswMBR.exe ( 4.5mb ) to your desktop.
Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it Click the "Scan" button to start scan

On completion of the scan click save log, save it to your desktop and post in your next reply
