theres no option for the lpv6 on this just gives connection and security tabs

Just let me know the exact make and model of the laptop if it will not connect.
Also I think that there might be a driver issue going on here see below.


Download UnknownDeviceIdentifierand post the log it Creates in your next reply.
Run the program allow it to finish then hit file> save > Save the file to desktop.The default file name will be DeviceList Attach Device list in your next reply.

You need to open an elevated command prompt.......

Hit the start button type cmd then when the command window appears at the top of the start menu right click it and run as admin.


Or

Click on All Programs and Accessories, then right click on Command Prompt and click on Run as administrator.

the command prompt is open, and when i enter that first line cd C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc...

it changes to that and then says i dont have admin privelages when i try to enter the next command

Its windows but im sure you know that ;)

EDIT: it wont allow me to right click to run as admin i think im already on as admin

Just run the fix it below those commands hopefully that will restore your hosts files to default.Let me know how it goes with the log-on.
