Hello
All my excel spreadsheets file extensions have changed to xlr. and I am unable to open or read them.
I think I mistakenly deleted Microsoft Excel and also Microsoft Works - trying to free up disc space.
When I look in my Program files - Microsoft Office is there but it only contains Microsoft Word.
I have hunted high and low for both my Microsoft Office CD and Works CD, but cannot find them.
Is there anyway of getting Excel back - so that I can work on my Excel spreadsheets.
Many Thanks
Francis

I'm only a fellow member like yourself. But the only thing I can think of is that you convert your xlr files to doc files to work in Microsoft Word as that's the only program you have.

Here's a guide how to do it-hope this helps :)
