iv forgotten my password and i tried to reset it through cmd but when i try to boot with cmd on safe mode nothing comes up it goes straight back to the password screen. what do i do

Firstly sorry you have waited some five days for a reply.

If you have forgotten a password then how please did you boot to safe mode with cmd prompt, if that is what you mean - as safe mode requires a password

If you have another user account with admin rights that appears at log-on then use that account

If you mean you have no access to any screen pass the log on password screen, then, whilst I do not doubt the account you provide

and I hope you will appreciate the reason, even if you find it hard to accept.

Sorry we cannot assist, the only other comment I would make is that passwords are not normally chosen completely randomly.
I therefore suggest you try the variationsof what you THINK it was.
