Before I turned off my computer my browers were flashing then as the computer was turning off a "Chkdsk" was scanning and verifying my files, I knew this was a virus but was unable to stop, escape the scan. The screen also said something about "NTFS". Now when I turn on my computer I get a blue screen with just the windows loading. I tried loading in "Safe Mode" but the same problem, blue Windows screen. Any suggestions? I am not sure if I have the original Windows CD. Computer is Sony Vaio two years old. Model PCG-713157 I've called around and going rate is $95/hr to fix the problem. I'd like to not spend the money if I dont have to as I was recently laid off. Any appreciation is helpful. Thank you.
