Hi.. I recently bought a new router about a month ago, a Netgear. It has ran very fast up until today, where I have noticed that it has suddenly decided to slow down to the speed of a snail.

I can't think of a reason for why this has happened. I can still connect to the router and internet, but my browsing speeds have decreased considerably. I haven't done anything differently to upset my router, and my system is clean. My smartphone is experiencing the same symptoms, I have no idea what has triggered the slowdown.

I want to power cycle the router on/off, but I first want to see if I can get an explanation for why this has happened? Please help.
