Hello,

my network icon in the Windows 7 status bar shows red X over it, although I'm normally connected to internet.

I happened after I had installed Bluesoleil software for MSI buetooth dongle. After that I noticed that the software is quite old and doesn't support Windows 7. Uninstallation of the Bluesoleil software didn't help, the network icon is still with the red cross. Unfortunately I don't have recovery point in system restore.

I tried many things as mentioned on following link, but none solution worked.

Please help.

Edited to convert http code box info into a link. Z
