I'm not quite sure.. but when I joined I'm sure "Community" and "Discussion" was near the top now it's near the bottom of the page.

Because it's forum related (news etc) and relatively important I think they should be near the top.

We periodically re-order the forums if we think it will help the people coming to the site. When the Community forums were towards the top, we were getting a lot of spam in the Introductions section, and that has dropped significantly. In addition, since we're primarily a support forum, we want the help forums to be the first thing that members see when they join, so they can identify where to post any questions they have. :)

Ah -- I wasn't sure if it was a bug or something, but thank you for clearing it up. It does make sense :)

I have noticed that this has helped tremendously with first time forum users seeking help to not start threads and post their requests for help in the Introduction forum as well.
