I have tried searching for results all over Google and a lot of the scenarios of other issues seem to be somewhat related to my issue but I cannot get this situation resolved. I am having problems ever since I upgraded my drivers to the latest and upgraded my OS to the latest SP.

This is my build.

Alright first off, on the 13th of this month I was having a major issue with crashing: i was playing a game from Trisyngergy soft and it was trainz 2009. In order for the updates to run I had to update my OS to SP3.. So I just did anyways to get the latest everything.

I have upgraded my OS Fully.

I ended up getting the stop error on the 26th.

***Stop: 0x000000C5

Then i got a message I can't remember what it was it was a blue screen. I Still have the Dumps for them.. And the analyzier if you guys need me to post them or attach them.

Anyhow.. The second Error is when it said the system recovered from a serious error. So I sent the report in.. then it took me to the report page via Microsoft.

It said that one of my NVidia Drivers stopped working? Something with the motherboard? I cant find the history on it. Its gone. I had it here in Firefox tabs.. x.x

top (blue screen) error caused by a device or driver

You received this message because a hardware device, its driver, or related software has caused a stop error, also called a blue screen error. This type of error means the computer has shut down abruptly to protect itself from potential data corruption or loss. In this case, we were unable to detect the specific device or driver that caused the problem.

The following troubleshooting steps might prevent the stop error from recurring. Try them in the order given. If one step does not solve the problem, then move on to the next one.

..Then it said my Antivirus was the cause LOL But I know it isnt that. Its never done that before.

Anyhow i summed up it was basically saying that my motherboard drives were not working so I went to the gigabyte website and downloaded the latest drivers for my motherboard

This is my mobo Motherboard

So... after installing the drivers.. everything ran ok.. I didnt get that blue screen anymore..

Then a week later.. I started having trouble..

My internet started slowing down to 48KBps which is insane.. my comcast is close to business speeds.. i get like 27MBPS down and 6.7mbps up.

Then the SVCHOST.exe would crash and I would loose my sound controls.. I would click on the Speaker on the bottom right and it would say no sound devices found and such.

There has been times when it just randomly gave me an error message were dr. watson would say that svchost.exe had to be closed.. I try and find these dump files and open them in

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\user.dmp

I use windows debugging tools and it doesnt work it says

This dump file has an exception of interest stored in it.
The stored exception information can be accessed via .ecxr.

Now i Just got an error again today that says DEP closed this program: Generic Host process for win32 services. By Microsoft. ... Why this is happening is beyond me.. and no: I did do some research on this and people says even microsoft says it might have to do with old HP drivers left on the system or a bad HP driver, ect.

I HAVE No HP Hardwares or softwares on this system nor do I have any printers or devices of the sorts that ever even deals with HP at all. The only HP program I have is a Flash TOOL formatting Program that is a stand alone installation that doesnt involve drivers.

Every time that the svchost.exe closes.. I loose certain functions to like SOUND and the internet.
After closing this DEP message another pops up and says Generic host process for win32 services encountered a problem and needed to be closed. ]

Error Sig: EventType : BEX P1 : svchost.exe P2 : P3 : 00000000
P4 : unknown P5 : P6 : 00000000 P7 : 00000000
P8 : c0000005 P9 : 00000008

This is very trouble some, If you want crash dumps and logs just let me know and I'll post in the next reply.

Thank you in advance for any help that would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not fully convinced that all of this is hardware or truly driver related.

Silly question, have you tried running a malware scan with whatever anti-malware scanner you have installed?

I would follow these instructions and post your OTL log to the Malware Removal forum just to be safe. Malware tampering with Svchost seems to be happening more frequently again lately, so it is worth a check. Once one of the helpers in there says that you are clean, come on back over here and we can continue to check out your issue.
