I removed the driver. So far so good. THings seem to be loading up quickly with minimal lagging. It always seems to get worse the longer the system stays on. Time will tell - keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks, ERF

Well, so far so good. I had reconnected my secondary SATA hard drive and had a bunch of problems. As long as I keep it disconnected, everything seems too run well. I think that drive may be going bad or my SATA controller. I cloned my smaller IDE C drive over to the larger SATA drive, disconnected my smaller drive, and tried to bot from the new drive. Windows ran , but I had a tone or error messages and the thing froze up quick. I guess I need a new drive.

Thanks you both rockmilk and rshaffer61, for all your help.
