Had an issue with some malware that piggybacked on a download and made my pc blue screen for a while, managed to move past it by using last known good configuration. However now I cannot connect to the internet using my ethernet cable.
I'm running windows 7, I tried downloading a driver from another pc and putting it accross but no joy. At the moment in device manager shows it to be working however Microsoft Virtual Wifi Miniport Adaptor is not but I didn't think that was relevant as I don't have any wifi to connect to anyway.
Before the blue screening my internet was working fine.
