No Sound from Online Content - USB Speakers - Bumped

Hello,
I have plugged in a set of USB speakers with no audio output.

The speakers work fine when I am playing content from Media Player
They turn off when I plug headphones in - and the headphones work fine.

The problem is that now I have lost online sound!!
I cannot hear sound from You Tube or any other streaming website.

Please help ... I am not sure what is happening here!

***** UPDATE *****
I unplugged the speakers & no online sound at all! Not from headphones either!
The only sound that plays is from Windows Media Player!
