Hello GTG,

I recently had issues with windows and my hardware so I ended up doing a clean install, although I still have my windows.old folder. However i do no have my windows key anymore, is there a way I can retrieve my windows key from the windows.old folder?

I have tried loading the hive with jelly bean key finder however I believe I did it wrong as it did not work.
Any help is much appreciated, thank you!

The product key should be on the COA sticker at the bottom of your laptop,
or if it's a desktop somewhere on the side of it.
