Hi Geeks to Go!

Recently I bought a new HD 7850 GPU for my computer.

I have been getting frequent 0x124 BSODs since I installed it (but also before I bought the card...), and research tells me that it points to a hardware problem. I am hoping it's not a problem with the GPU as the RMA process can be annoying...here are my computer specs and the steps I have taken so far.

CPU: AMD FX 4100 Quad Core
RAM: 8gb
PSU: CoolerMaster 500w
GPU: HD 7850
Motherboard: Gigabite M68MT-S2

I bought a new 500w power supply (which should be sufficient - my brother uses the same components with no problem).
I ran memtest86 for about 11 hours overnight, going through 6 passes with no errors.
I removed the CD drive because I don't use it and it's one more thing I can rule out.
My graphic drivers and BIOS are fully updated.

As of right now I am using my old GPU, a HD 6670. The problem is, I have encountered similar BSODs before I bought the 7850.

Using the WhoCrashed program, these are the crash analyses. All the crashes in November are from the HD 7850 and everything else is with the old 6670.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
