First off, my apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this...

For some reason YouTube videos stopped playing yesterday and I can't figure out why. I don't remember making any system changes or installing anything new.

Here is what I have tried so far:

Uninstalled Flash Player and re-installed it (latest version from Adobe - 11+)
Cleared all browser cache files (history, temp files, cookies, etc.)
Abandoned IE and installed latest FireFox
Read through all the forums I could take
Turned off my anti-virus and firewall

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It shouldn't be this difficult...

Hi ataribravo,

Welcome to Geeks to go! :)

First off, my apologies if this is the wrong place to ask this...

 No apologies necessary! Right place to ask!

Please follow the instructions to uninstall Adobe Flash in the following link:

Uninstall Flash Player | Windows

Then reinstall the latest version from this link and try YouTube.

If that doesn't help, temporarily disable any popup blocking software installed on your computer and try YouTube again.

Thank you for the quick reply, Donna!

I have gone that route to no avail. However, I did just install Chrome and it works fine. I tried IE again and now it works! But with FireFox YouTube pops up a banner saying I have to install Flash Player... I don't get it. But at least I have YouTube again even if I have no idea why.
