I can't open any new topic in the introductions forum, also I can't reply to topics. Is this because my rank or just a wrong settings in permissions?

It's because of your rank. We stopped allowing GeekU students from posting in the introductions forum a while ago, because too many trainees were posting in there and directing new people where to post their topics, as well as sometimes offering malware advice.
