windows custom updates

Hello, im running windows xp(sp3), and have .Net framework 2 - 4, well for some reason the "icon" for framework 4 is greyed out in the add/remove page, but it does have a size. Any idea if this is ok? Just noticed it.

Also i have Framework 4 updates under custom on the windows update page? Why is this, i thought they should be under express? Any ideas, im lost...
