I'm a novice so I'm not as savvy as you Gentleman. Here is what I have, What ever I have!!! It will not let me install a fresh copy of Windows of Vista!!! Or go into Save Mode! In set up it lucked the Hard drive with a + and wont let me boot from CD no mater what I do!! Also tried the programs that you suggest to remove the THING and nothing is able to remove it. This is on my Dell Studio and on my Dell Inspiron I seem to have something also it will not let me run any of the Virus removal tools. I have not tried to reinstall Windows XP, don't want to if I don't have too. Please Help?? Thank you Walt

Go to the Virus, Spyware, Malware Removal forum, read the first post and follow instructions.

Come back here once you get a clean bill of health if you still have problems.
