hi. this is my problem: don't have local area connection driver. i know for sure that is missing cause i've tried finding it in the device manager and then in bios. i've tried to download severel drivers related to my system but all i've found were some [bleep] programms.
my question is: could smbd please help me finding the lan driver i need? ... free download?
my laptop is an emachines E440, windows 7 home premium, 32 bits

You are in the wrong forum but I expect you can get your driver from Gateway:

Make sure you change the All Operating Systems to the one you have then look for LAN Driver from Broadcom
