I just recently got a new laptop which has Windows 8 OS. I have had many positive experiences in the past with Geeks To Go helping me get rid of unwanted stuff on my previous computers, so my question to you now is: What are the best programs to install for preventative measures against viruses, malware, spyware, etc.? I would like to be pro active and nip these buggers in the butt before I have to use this site again to get rid of stuff. Any suggestions would be helpful. At the moment, I have installed SUPER AntiSpyware, plus the laptop has a trial version of Kaspersky 2013 as well as McAfee. Those will be up soon and there has to be some decent programs out there that don't have to be purchased but will do the same job. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for any guidance you can send my way regarding this matter.
Thanks, Tania
