So I have a samsung intensity 2 and everything else is working fine but I cannot read text messages when I go to my messages it turns to a verizon wireless screen and goes back to the default view for my phone.

Does anyone know what is causing this or can point me in the right direction? Thank you.

Just a thought. I had a verizon samsung fascinate that would not send text messages but could receive them. It took going thru 3 tech guys before one decided to check my account and found out that sending sms messages was disabled. Turned it on and everything worked fine. Only problem was i had already sold the phone and switched to a droid razr by afternoon. Might have been a good phone.

Have you had the phone checked at a carrier store? Most are pretty good on checking the phones.
