I use Nero8 Essentials to burn my audio files. Today when I tried to burn some files to disc, a box entitled Save Image File comes up and in the File Name box appears "Image" and in the Save As type box appears "Image Files(*.nrg). Then when I try to cancel this and burn to disc a message comes up saying "aborted
by user". I have used Nero8 for a couple of years and it has been fine. I uninstalled and reinstalled the programme but problem is still there. Help please.

It usually shows the Nero Image thing when Nero thinks your burning your file to the Nero Image Recorder instead of your cd/dvd burner..

Maybe 2 solution

1- make sure your cd/dvd burner is selected as the destination source if you do not see your burner in the choices then

2- Run Nero info tools to see if Nero detects your burner, sometimes Nero will lose your burner in its choices and only after running the info tool does it recognizes it again.

Hope that will help solve your problem.
