I recently received the bloodhound W32.ep virus on my computer. I installed hijack this and i ran it and i believe i successfully removed it from my computer. However i continue to experience the pop-ups that I did not experience prior to encountering bloodhound. I ran adaware and i removed everything it found. Anyone have any suggestions on what i should do to stop the pop-ups?

Here is my hijack this log:

Hello and welcome to GeeksToGo! My name is Kat, and I will be helping you get your computer fixed back up and on the go!

You have a pretty hefty collection of Malware on your machine. Let's get started, shall we??

First, I need you to go to Start>Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs, and uninstall the following:

Logitech Desktop Messenger
WildTangent
SpywareKilla << This is a "Rogue" product, more information found here

Next, I would like you to:

Please download ewido security suite it is a trial version of the program.
  • Install ewido security suite
  • Launch ewido, there should be an icon on your desktop double-click it.
  • The program will prompt you to update click the OK button
  • The program will now go to the main screen
You will need to update ewido to the latest definition files.
  • On the left hand side of the main screen click update
  • Click on Start
The update will start and a progress bar will show the updates being installed.
Once the updates are installed do the following:
  • Click on scanner
  • Make sure the following boxes are checked before scanning:
    • Binder
    • Crypter
    • Archives
  • Click on Start Scan
  • Let the program scan the machine
While the scan is in progress you will be prompted to clean files, click OK
Once the scan has completed, there will be a button located on the bottom of the screen named Save report
  • Click Save report
  • Save the report to your desktop
After you have done the above, please post a reply here and paste me a copy of the log from Ewido, as well as a new HijackThis log, and we will continue to clean you up!

Looking a lot better! You have a Q00logic infection. Let's get that taken care of next! :tazz: I have a softball game for my daughter in a little bit. I will check back later this evening!

Download FindQoologic from http://forums.net-in...=post&id=134981
Extract (unzip) the files inside into their own folder called FindQoologic.
Open the FindQoologic folder. Preferable to your desktop.
Locate and double-click the Find-Qoologic.bat file to run it.
wait until a text opens, post it in a reply to your thread.
