Hello,

I had a disabled firewall and an error code would come up when I tried to activate it. I ran a scan with Hitman pro and I have a consrv.dII in quarantine. I am not sure what to do next but the computer has not been running poorly, but the firewall was inactive before the scan. I have had suspensions that the computer is under attack from a hacker so I decided to check for solutions. I found out the firewall was down and could not activate it. I ran a scan first on Malwarebytes and consrv.dII did not come up. I could not fix the firewall so next I tried Hitman and I could then activate my firewall. Later, i saw I had this in quarantine. I have attached the log of the scans. Please let me know hot I can get rid of this. Thank you.

Hi there could I have a better look at the system please

Download OTL to your Desktop
Secondary link
  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.

  • Select All Users
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in

    netsvcs
    BASESERVICES
    %SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
    /md5start
    services.*
    explorer.exe
    winlogon.exe
    Userinit.exe
    svchost.exe
    winsock.*
    /md5stop
    CREATERESTOREPOINT

  • Click the Run Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Post both logs
