Another thing is you do not have an antivirus installed in case you had one and no longer do lets run app remover.
http://www.appremover.com/

Reboot your machine after this.

Install Avast free.

If it were my machine I would run a full scan with avast after you install it. :)

ok so when I update the driver it says "The best driver software for your device is already installed.....Windows has determined the driver software for your device is up to date"
Should I continue with the rest of the steps?

Download the file in the link below to your desktop unzip it there.
http://www.filedropper.com/athrx

You can unzip the file with 7 zip.
http://www.7-zip.org/

Hit the start button type or copy and paste the file path below.
c:\windows\system32\drivers

Find the athrx.sys Name it athrx.old

Now drag the athrx.sys file that I had you download to the c:\windows\system32\drivers folder.
Reboot your machine and test for a while.

If you have any more blue screens upload the dumps here in your next reply.

ok so I did everything my computer stopped crashing....THANK YOU FOR THAT... but my google chrome is acting funny now but when I use firefox it is working properly..when i use chrome I have to click on a link 5 times before it loads and then if the link is a pop up a blank page would pop up instead of the actual page so i don't know what that is about..It's a problem because I primarily use chrome.
