Toshiba Satellite C855D Boot issue

i have the above mentioned toshiba laptop that i bought a while ago and i had windows 8 on it and i wanted to downgrade to windows 7 , after downgrading a problem has came up while powering on and it wouldn't detect the hard drive with a message saying ( checking media ) and the it turns into another screen saying (no boot device was detected please reboot your computer) i need help ASAP please
The dos is not responding to any booting device , i have tried the USB Flash drive and USB dvd Drive
