Laptop stuck on SHORT boot loop

Hi there,
I bought a new laptop yesterday and installed some updates. Today morning my laptop doesnt work anymore. When i press the power button all the lights go on for about 2 seconds inclluding the fan and then it turns off. This is stuck in a loop, it happens over and over again until i remove the bettery. Any ideas?

If the notebook is out of the box new and covered by a warranty I suggest that you return it to where it was purchased and have them correct the issue in case it is a hardware issue such as a bad HDD.

If the notebook is not out of the box new and has no warranty post the brand and model name or number with your next reply so that we can do some research on the notebook specifications etc.
