Hello YouCrayzFool and welcome to Geeks To Go !!

My name is Crowbar and I'll be the malware removal Geek that will be helping you remove any infections you may have on your computer.

  • Please read all of my response through at least once before attempting to follow the procedures described.
  • Please save my instructions as a text file on your desktop, or print them out, as you may not be able to access this thread at times.
  • Please follow the steps exactly as written, in the same order.
  • If there's anything you don't understand or isn't totally clear, please ask me any questions that you may have.
  • Please do not attach any log files to your replies unless I specifically ask you. Instead please copy and paste so as to include the log in your reply. You can do this in separate posts if it's easier for you.
  • This process is not an instant process - please stick with me until I tell you that your machine is clean. If you don't see any symptoms it does not mean your system is clear of malware
  • Please don't run any other scans or other software unless I ask you to, as it will make this repair more difficult.

Download the attached file fixlist.txt to the same USB drive as FRST64

Run FRST64 as you did before, except this time click on the Fix button.

A log will be created on the USB drive (Fixlog.txt)
Please post that log in your next reply

Now please try to boot the computer in normal mode, if it does start please continue, otherwise let me know what happens.

Step 1
  • Download RogueKiller and save it on your desktop.
  • Quit all programs
  • Start RogueKiller.exe.
  • Wait until Prescan has finished ...
  • Click on Scan

  • Wait for the end of the scan.
  • The report has been created on the desktop.
  • Click on the Delete button.

  • The report has been created on the desktop.

  • Next click on the ShortcutsFix

  • The report has been created on the desktop.

Please post: All RKreport.txt text files located on your desktop.

Step 2
Download OTL to your Desktop

  • Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
  • Select All Users
  • Under the Custom Scan box paste this in

netsvcs
BASESERVICES
%SYSTEMDRIVE%\*.exe
/md5start
services.*
explorer.exe
winlogon.exe
Userinit.exe
svchost.exe
qmgr.dll
/md5stop
CREATERESTOREPOINT

  • Click the Quick Scan button. Do not change any settings unless otherwise told to do so. The scan wont take long.
  • When the scan completes, it will open two notepad windows. OTL.Txt and Extras.Txt. These are saved in the same location as OTL.
  • Post both logs in your next response

In your next reply I would like to see:
  • fixlog.txt from the flash drive
  • all rkreport.txt files from roguekiller
  • OTL custom scan and extras.txt file
  • What are the current symptoms at this point?
