Processor problems? Computer keeps freezing

For the past few months, my computer has been freezing ALL the time. It will be 100% unusable for 5-10 minutes, after which it will start working again.

I've gotten rid of some malware, but this has not solved the problem. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I think it has something to do with my processors.
How can I check whether or not my processors are behaving normally?

And if it would be a processor problem, how could I solve it?
