Greetings. I am trying to download a video game. The instructions say to "install to a directory (folder) outside of the default /program files/hierarchies". Here is what I have done: In windows explorer, created a new folder, giving it the name of the game. When I downloaded, I clicked the "save as" button and directed the save to this new folder. After the download was complete, I navigated to the new (game) folder, opened it, and installed from there. When it asked where I wanted to save the game, I browsed to the game folder and saved there. The path I used was (and names have been changed) c:/game folder/ my game.

Is this correct? I am asking because I am having problems with the game and am searching for a solution at the most obvious spot, my download location. The games help desk is not real helpful.

Thank you.
