This is a good one ! :tazz:

Computer was running fine, did a few updates ( Adaware and Spybot )
After installing the latest Adaware and Spybot.
On one of the updates I saw some funny characters ??? All ran OK
Ran Adaware and Spybot all clean.
Did a Defrag.
Windows 2000 is up to date !

Went to shut machine down, took a long time without shutting down
Finally turned off computer.
Now turned back on, computer boots Windows 2000 screen comes up, screen blanks and windows 2000 startup screen continues then all of a sudden the computer reboots drives click like you pushed a reset. Does it over and over.
Tried safe mode, same.
Tried last good boot, same.

Not a hardware priblem have pullout drives and put in Windows XP drive Machine runs.

Any Ideas ?? ;)
I figure it's what they used to call the swap file, either got corrupted or is now missing durning the shutdown/power off ??
Any way to get it back to run ?
