Hello. I have an opportunity to download from Microsoft Window 8 at a reasonable discount.
So, my question is: Does this download to a folder that I can install at my convenience? Or is it directly installed to my computer and when finished it'll be running Windows 8? The reason for the question is that I'm not sure I want to run this new system yet. But the discount is tempting. Thanks...

Hello,

After purchasing you have various options to install your product:

1. You can directly upgrade to windows 8. After the installation finished this will create a Folder in C:\ESD that you have the option starting an new installation.
2. If you choose the product for later installation, the Upgrade-Tool gives you the choice to make an .iso file for later burning on DVD. Also you have the choice to make an USB-Stick for fresh installation.
3. You can download for 30 days from the Microsoft store your purchased product any time, as additional option if happening anything with the 'Download itself.
