[Sugartooth]

Hello,
I've been using WordPad for a couple of years and now it suddenly doesn't save. I've clicked Save, Save As, and having it ask me if I want to Save. Every time I exit the file, all my writing in it does too. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Sugartooth, sorry for the delay in responding.

Is it only wordpad or do you have the same problem if you try notepad?
What if you save to a different location?
Are you working with .rtf (Rich Text Files) or plain .txt files?

Hi Ztruker,

Thank you so much for responding. However, my wordpad problem seems to have cleared up. I was originally saving as .rtf when the words starting disappearing. Then I tried saving with .txt. They never disappeared as a .txt. I then used System Restore and went back a few weeks prior to the problem. Either that fixed it or my laptop decided to behave itself!
