Ok heres the setup. I have two computers that I use and one Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 set (keyboard and mouse). For a while I was switching the USB transceiver back and forth but I would rather try to get another one so I dont have to keep switching. Does anyone know if these are generic or are keyed to the particular hardware? Its a 2.4ghz transceiver, should I be able to just get a dongle and plug it into the computer and have it work?
