Hi all

New to forum but hoping someone can solve this little mystery.

Approximately 6 months ago i fitted a secondary hard drive into a spare bay in my HP Laptop. Everything went smoothly and I have been using it without any problems to store my music, movies etc.

This morning I tried to access the drive to save some files and the drive has disappeared.

I have searched through 'adminiistrive tools' etc but it's nowhere to be found.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you flipped the laptop over and removed the bay cover to see if it has not become dislodged?

Sometimes the obvious solutions are the ones we try last...

Thanks Wolfey, problem now sorted. If I had a brain I'd be dangerous.
