Hi
I use my PC DVD-ROM drive to watch DVDs - except that it now brings up a 'cannot read drive' error after about 10-20 minutes continuous play. Fitted new DVD drive (Samsung), same problem.
I use Linux Suse OS and Kaffiene/Xine movie player (with decoder).
It plays CD-ROMs & DVD software mostly okay, though freezes sometimes.
Could it be an overheating problem? Do DVD-ROM drives overheat? My CPU is running around 51C (Athlon XP 3000).
Thanks.... :tazz:
