Personally I'd install Avast but have a look at these comparisons........

MBAM though not a AV it is good to run it once a week to check for infections that may have slipped by Avast. Doesn't happen often but it is another line of defense. I highly recommend it also. :thumbsup:

Windows 8 includes Windows Defender (essentially, Microsoft Security Essentials), so unless you feel that it's not doing the job, there's really no need to install another antivirus program. More information.
