HTC salsa screen fix problem

Has anyone got any advice on fixing a HTC salsa with a broken screen, there are no good tutorials that I can find online. I have already seen this one and it didn't help
If the screen is cracked do I need a digitiser, LCD or both?

It's hard to say without knowing if the digitizer has been damaged. IF you want to play it safe, I'd recommend purchasing both.
