I am working on a HP DV7-3085dx. Windows 7 operating system wih i7.

I replaced the cooling fan because I received the following message:

The System BIOS has detected a possible issue with the cooling fan.
Cooling Fan (902)
Enter Shutdown

So I replaced the cooling fan and I still get the same error message.

How do I fix this so the BIOS recognizes a new fan has been installed?
