I've had my mac for a few years and have never had any problems so I'm a noob as how to resolve them.
My Mac if freezing every ten minutes or so. I can use the mouse, but all applications are frozen at the spinning ball. The I can't even access the apple menu and can only resolve by leaving it for about 15 minutes or using the power button to shut down.
I have managed to repair disk permissions and verify the disk but no errors were found.
I'm running OSX version 10.7.5.
I've recently updated to the latest iTunes, the problems did seem to start since then.
