printer with an attitude

sometimes when i want to print something it goes lickety split and othertimes it takes 10 min to print . it acts like its thinks for a few min. then prints one line then it will repeat this action and it will actually take 10 to 15 min to print something.i dont know what to do plz help if you can thanks for taking the time, i really appreciate it. also i would like to add sometimes it wont print anything from email eiether

What brand and model of printer is it?

How is it connected to your computer or network?
