I have been trying without avail to get some assistance in setting up a new identity with OE 6. I have checked and rechecked that every setting in the properties were correct. I have reset passwords and deleted the identity that would not work. I continually get this message:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'pop.east.cox.net', Server: 'pop.east.cox.net', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name or password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
Can anyone help me??
My main identity works fine, I suppose that's good. ha.
