How possible is it to get Windows games to run on Linux? I personally am disgusted by the fact Microsoft is stabbing a lot of there core userbase in the back with this Metro nonsense. If they keep going in this direction, I might jump ship to Linux. How well can I get Windows stuff to work on Linux?

in my linux lap it was too good better for games i mostly recommend windows xp

first, you don't have to run the "metro" ui. You can simply go straight to desktop and run windows as you always have.

To run steam on linux best works with Ubuntu. It is possible to get to work with other distro's, but not officially supported by Valve at the moment.
