Windows 7 Disk Clean Up

I am on Phase 4 of 5 and my computer freezes. It will not allow it to finish. I have done the debug and defrag before doing the disk clean up. I have attempted to do the disk clean up several times and everytime it freezes.

Perhaps the drive is defective? Check the hard drive with the manufacturer's diagnostic tools.
