Research tells me there is a boot sector virus in my 80gig slave Maxtor HDD.

It only reads non DOS 32 gigs . Im running WinXP SP2 2.4G on a fairly

new emachine. It belongs to my girlfriend debi she will be very grateful

if we can salvage her music collection. The HDD is recognized by the PC bios

but is not shown on win explorer. The Maxtor tests OK show the drive is in

good health and it was partition NFTS. Now it shows a non DOS partition.

We are lost at this point. please HELP! Thank You All. jose268
