Hello dhitchner

Computers can be fickle as you will be aware so what works for yourself may not work for others.

Performance settings will often have this sort of affect because what one item of hardware is comfortable with will make another choke, also keep in mind that it is only the MBs settings that are being set to the performance/optimized settings and not the CPU, Ram or video card, the build is a good spec and does not need to be tweaked for high performance but if needs must do it manually but be sure that you make a note of the stable setting details in case the overclocking settings go horribly wrong.

As ever you are welcome BTW

Just wanted to update you all. The computer is still running great! Obviously it was the BIOS boost causing all the problems. Thanks again :)
